Josip Mikačić (born Josip Mišković, in Zagreb, February 8, 1998), journalism student on Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb.

Started photographic career volunteering on events, out of which I would single out Croatian state championship in freediving, held in Zagreb, 2019. That’s when I first documented something newsworthy, when Mirela Kardašević broke the world record.

In june, 2021, I started working in Foto Marin studio in Livno (Bosnia and Herzegovina), where I was both photographer and cameraman. In the same period, I was also working on the film set, during shooting of the TV show, Balkanika.

Upon arrival back to my home town Zagreb, I started working as a photojournalist for Global Novine, non-profit newspapers of Faculty of Political Science.

I worked there until March 2022, when I start working for Croatian daily newspaper, Novi List. I stayed there until May 2023.

After the summer, at the end of the September 2023, I started working in Pixsell, leading photo and video agency in the region, for whom I’m currently working.
